Digital workshop: Gender in IBD
NORDTREAT arrangerar en digital workshop under temat ”Gender in IBD” November 22, kl 16-17.30. Deltagande är gratis men anmälan krävs.
Grasping the concepts of sex and gender is crucial to understanding the health of individuals, which also applies to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Accordingly, a focus on sex and gender will lead to better research and improved disease management, ultimately benefiting patients with IBD. Within the Nordic collaborative project Nordtreat (NORDTREAT – The Nordic IBD treatment strategy trial) we continuously reflect on and incorporate sex, gender and diversity considerations to strive for equality in all aspects of our research. In collaboration with the Gender Equality Team from the University of Southern Denmark, we are hosting a workshop with presentations on this important topic, as well as opportunities for discussion.
The workshop will be held online November 22, at 16-17.30 – UTC+1 (Copenhagen time).
